By the Wailing Wall of Jerusalem
Hi all! Exam season here is winding to a close, allowing me to get out and about with my camera.
The wailing wall is the last physical remnant of the second Jewish temple.

Kittens family
A family of baby kittens with their mother. A Compact camera autofocus makes focusing on animals a pain, but it's better than not having any camera at all handy

Icon convention 2009 Photos
I frequently cover conventions here in Israel, specifically those of a geekish nature. As i've been forwarding this album around in preperation for the next Icon festival/convention (The convention has split up this year due to political/internal issues), I thought to repost this modest collection of pictures.
This .year will be far better technically, I FINALLY have a 2.8 long range zoom :D and a 50 1.4 Prime. (The lighting in the Tel Aviv cinematheque where it takes place is horrific)

Interesting Times
Every year that ancient Chinese curse, "May You Live in Interesting times" proves itself a most vicious one.
From wars to embargoes, from global warming to cultural upheavals and shifts in the global balance power, there's always something happening to make this a most Deadly Curse.
(And a fine book of course! Go read Terry Pratchett's Discworld series!

עבודות לבצלאל
Well, I'll be presenting a number of works to the Betzalel Academy of Fine arts this Friday to finish up the field course I took with them during this semester.
I can't say that the course contributed much to my knowledge, talents or understanding, or even to my venturing forth to fresh new locations.
Still, I always enjoy photographing, it helped me get to know some of my photographer friends better, and it helped set a watermark to improve over.
(And it counts as academic credit!)
Some of the pictures I'll be submitting weren't taken during the course, some not even over the past year.
Tell me what YOU think:
